Good for simple use, minor issues

I signed up for the free forever plan to try out the PDF Signature Tool and it mostly worked well. It was straightforward to upload my document and place the signature fields. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. I did have a small hiccup trying to resize a signature box on my phone, which was a bit finicky. Customer service was responsive though when I had a question about document storage, they got back to me within a day. Overall, it's a solid option if you just need basic e-signatures, but there's a little room for improvement on mobile usability.

Easy digital signatures

Needed to sign a few documents quickly. SignWell's PDF Signature Tool was very easy to use. Uploaded, signed, done. No fuss. Saved me time. Glad I found it.

Reliable for contract management

I've been using SignWell for about a year now, mainly for contract management and proposal tracking. I started with the free trial and then moved to an annual business plan. This order was just renewing my subscription. The consistency is what keeps me coming back; every document I send out is tracked reliably and the automated reminders are a lifesaver. It's definitely more intuitive than a competitor I used before, and the custom branding feature is a nice touch for professionalism. The integration with our existing workflow has been seamless. I appreciate that they haven't changed things up too much, it just works.

Just wondering about the legality of SignWell. Is an e-signature from them actually binding in the US?

J Jared 3 weeks ago
Yeah, absolutely. Electronic signatures are legally binding in the US under the ESIGN Act. SignWell provides audit trails and stuff to back it up.

M Mike E. 3 weeks ago
100% legally binding. They comply with all the regulations, and you get an audit report with every signed document which is super helpful if there's ever a dispute.

Thinking of switching from DocuSign. Is SignWell really that much better or just cheaper?

D Daisy F. 1 month ago
I switched a while back. For me, it's more intuitive and the pricing is definitely better, especially if you go annual. DocuSign felt a bit clunky after a while.

They're pretty comparable for basic stuff. SignWell's interface is cleaner IMO. The main difference might come down to specific advanced features or integrations you need, but for general e-signing, it holds up.

How many documents can you sign on their free plan? Is it enough for a small side hustle?

W Wendy Carter 1 month ago
It's pretty limited, I think it's like 3 docs a month for sending. If you're just receiving or signing, it's unlimited. For sending, a small side hustle might outgrow it fast.

I believe the free plan allows you to send out 3 documents per month. If you're doing a lot of contracts, you'll probably need to upgrade, but it's good for light use.

Hey, I'm looking into SignWell. Anyone know if it's actually free to use for basic stuff or just a trial?

L Lisa Torres 1 month ago
Yeah, they have a free forever plan. You can do a few documents a month with it. Good for personal use or if you just need to sign something occasionally.

W Wendy Reyes 1 month ago
It's not just a trial, there's a legit free tier. But it's limited on how many docs you can send out. Good way to test it out before committing though.

I'm trying to decide between monthly and annual billing. Is the annual discount worth it?

A Anna Okafor 1 month ago
Definitely. If you know you're gonna use it for a year, the annual saves you a good chunk, like 20-25% from what I remember.

J Julia Silva 4 weeks ago
Yeah, it's a no-brainer if you're planning to stick with it. The monthly adds up super fast compared to the yearly plan.

Are there ever any promo codes or coupon deals for SignWell, like a Black Friday thing?

G Greg E. 1 month ago
They do sometimes have deals around Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but it's not super common to see random promo codes floating around. Mostly their discounts are for annual plans.

I've only really seen them do special offers during big sales events like end of year stuff. For general discounts, it's usually just the annual billing saving.

Does SignWell offer any discounts for non-profits? Trying to get our organization set up with something affordable.

K Kate 1 month ago
I think I saw something about a non-profit discount on their site or in their FAQs. Worth checking out for sure.

W Wendy Romero 1 month ago
Yes, they do! My friend's charity uses them and got a special rate. You probably have to contact their sales team directly or fill out a form to prove your non-profit status.

Can I actually use SignWell on my phone? I'm often out of the office and need to sign things on the go.

D Derek M. 1 month ago
Yup, totally. I've signed stuff from my iPhone plenty of times. The mobile interface works well for signing.

J Jared Y. 1 month ago
It's browser-based so it works fine on mobile. Not a dedicated app like some others, but it's optimized enough to get documents signed without issues.
